Hi There! You've found us....and we are so glad that you did! I'm Veronica...the V of V&J Photography and those two handsome fellas you're seeing to your left are our 3 year old little guy, Isaac and my hubby and partner in crime (oops, I mean...photography and life) Justin. Yes, he is the J of V&J.

I am a natural light photographer, working in Northern California. Bay Area to be exact. The last 3 years of our business have been geared toward families and children. And that is still my first love! This year though, J and I are also taking the big step into the world of Weddings..and we are SO excited!

That's the thing about the art of Photography... the possibilities are endless, and how lucky are we to be on this journey!

This blog is a place for us to share our most recent work, the fabulous sessions and the gorgeous clients we are lucky enough to photograph, and of course...the crazy, silly stories of life with a Three Year Old. We hope the images you'll see will bring a smile to your face...

Last Days of Summer

Well, as always…the Summer months have flown by. Fall is just around the corner…and I’m not complaining. Fall is definitely my favorite Season…I love the crisp cool weather, the leaves turning beautiful colors, and the boots I finally get to wearBut I’m not quite ready to say Goodbye to Summer. And neither is one little boy who has just learned to swim! In fact, if it was up to him….it would be Summer all year long… and this is what he’d be doing….

Thank you Santa Clara Swim Club for turning our little guy into a Fish!

Melissa & Brian: {Married}

It was a perfect San Francisco day…. as I drove to the city for what would turn out to be a fabulous wedding! You see, this past Saturday I had the great pleasure of working along side east bay photog-extraordinare, Preston Davis of Divine Order Photography fame in photographing the wedding of M&B. Melissa and Brian planned a perfect day with the help of Jessica Goldblatt, rock-star planner of www.dreamsonadime.com. The ceremony took place at the lovely Shakespeare Garden, in Golden Gate Park….and the reception was held at the San Francisco Italian Athletic Club.

It was a day filled with love and happiness, shared by all those present for this wonderful couple. But I have to say, my favorite moment was when the reverend read the words that Melissa and Brian wrote to each other. Absolutely lovely.

We started the day at M&B’s apartment where the ladies were getting ready….

I love the look on mom’s face. It’s the look all of us mothers share….be it the first steps, the kindergarten graduation, or the day of her little girl’s wedding.

We then made our way to Shakespeare Garden, which by the way is one of my favorite places in the park. It was the PERFECT setting for a wedding ceremony…..

MARRIED!

She was breathtaking….when I showed her the photo on the back of the camera she said something like “magic camera”….UHH, no Melissa…you are just that beautiful.

Cousins ~ San Jose Headshots Photographer

Isaac loves his cousins, E & A. And it’s always such a blast when these two come to town. They live in Long Beach and so sadly we don’t get to see each other too oftenA is going to be a Junior in High School this year (OMG, i can’t believe it!!!)….and that means that college is right around the corner. So, what better reason to go walk around the beautiful Stanford Campusand to get a few headshots as well….

Gotta love a girl that rocks the pink cowboy boots!

On the Move ~ San Jose Photographer

Hey y’all….about a week ago, I met S and her handsome little boy V for an afternoon session at Vasona Park. Isaac an I love the park and go there often…but this was my first time doing a session. What a great spot!!! How have I never thought if it before?

Anyway, isn’t it amazing how a tiny little human can run faster then the rest of us?? V is two years old and quite possibly the fastest little guy i’ve ever photographed. For real…..he was On.The.Move! It’s a good thing he was so cute…Between the three adults present, we were able to get some FAB shots!!!
