Two sisters! One is a spitfire, curious little girl with tons of questions, awesome ballet moves and unbelievable blue eyes – the other, a sweet little pumpkin, with chunky little baby legs, a big beautiful smile – and those same blue eyes. What a treat it was to photograph them and their beautiful mama! A warm Spring day, a lovely time with a great group of gals, a wagon, a creek and some sunshine. Couldn’t ask for anything more…

A little Queen and her King (without a crown)

What a truly lovely evening I had with this wonderful family. We’ve been working together for years now – and i’ve had the pleasure of watching and documenting these little ones grow. On this warm Sunday eve – we got together at one of my favorite spots (funny that I haven’t photographed there for a while….) and walked around the blooming grounds of the garden – snapping photos along the way. Of course, as these guys are famous for doing – little E came prepared with multiple outfit changes – one of which, my absolute favorite – The Queen! When I asked her if the Queen had a King, she said – ‘Yes, my brother – but he doesn’t have a crown’.

Remember Gabriella and Jeff? I knew you would It’s impossible to forget this beautiful, totally smitten, completely in love twosome. The wedding is right around the corner – but in the meantime, Gabriella was wonderful enough to invite me to her Bridal Shower. What a pleasure it was to meet the lovely ladies who love her the most.

The shower was held at Bridges Restaurant in Danville – my first time here – but what a great location for a shower!!

Sunday Bagel with my Love

I know it’s been a while since i’ve shared an Isaac post. Not because I don’t want to, and definitely not because I don’t have enough photos But simply because we have been so totally busy living our lives. But this morning, Isaac and I had a truly lovely time. It’s a beautiful day outside, and we decided to get a morning bagel at one of our favorite cafes. So we grabbed our stuff, put on the shoes…and out the door we went. Murphy St. was completely empty…except for the early risers at the coffee shop like us.

A San Francisco Engagement – Nauz and Mark

When Nauz and I first started chatting about locations, I had a feeling that she would come up with something amazing. Because, she is - after-all….an incredibly stylish, fabulous girl. And when she suggested the gorgeous, historic Fairmont Hotel, my feeling was totally confirmed. This was my first time shooting an engagement at a hotel, and I loved it! There are so many nooks, corners, chairs, textures, chandeliers….all the fun background things that really add something special to the shoot.

Let me introduce you to Nauz and Mark, a totally beautiful and incredibly sweet and funny couple. They’ll be getting married this Summer at the gorgeous Capital Club, and oh man – there are some incredible plans on the way. But for now, here is peek into our afternoon in San Francisco.

At the Boardwalk – T and J: Engaged!

I love this session for so many reasons! T and J are amazing – the boardwalk was deserted – the sun was shining, but the clouds gave us some lovely hazy light – the rides were empty……let’s just say I had a pretty great time at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk with my new friends Thanh and Jonathan. We headed over the hill bright and early and arrived in Santa Cruz – ready to roll. We walked, and talked, and snapped away…..we found random beautiful spots and took advantage of all the amazing colors. We laughed and danced – and risked arrest by sneaking onto empty boardwalk rides….Ahhh..my favorite kind of session.

Three Meant to Be

As the weather suddenly takes a turn to the rainy cold – let’s remember the amazing few weeks we just had with this lovely session at the Japanese Friendship Garden. I really loved my time with this beautiful family of three. Little H is one sweet fella – we got along famously – more hugs and smiles than I have a right to hope for. These three…were truly meant to be, and what a pleasure it was for me to capture these moments.

Love and the City

March 3rd…and Isaac and I spent the day at the beach – 70 degrees and perfect. I love California!!!!

Now, on to the photos….I”ve been dying to share this session, but as always – life has been keeping me busy. Allow me to introduce you to Lyuba and Alex – who’ll be getting hitched in Las Vegas in just a few short months. We met in the City on a lovely afternoon and walked all over, shooting along the way. We were joined by Ben – the family dog – who was pretty much a dream to photograph…. seriously, he didn’t bark once. Not once!

Lyuba and Alex – two great people – who love each other completely. Congratulations you two!

Three Together

B is truly a happy little boy. So many smiles for us during our very cold and slightly wet session. He did an amazing job and so did mom and dad – who knew just the perfect thing to make their little man happy. It was a joy to spend some time with this family – and to capture the beautiful dynamic they have between the three of them.
